Just heard HSE National Director of Communications on PK describe 'rolling out' of new strategy to engage 'celebrities' such as gerald Keane in spreading the HSE message.
The last time I felt such anger at waste of taxpayers money was the infamous interview with Rody Molloy of FAS.

Solution is self-evident to everyone except those in charge of the HSE: Sack those in charge of the HSE, sack all the duplicated admin staff and redirect all those resources to actual frontline health provision.

The Department of Health should be running the health service, not the HSE. They should all be fired.
Come on guys, going forward we need to project a positive image of the the corporate message of the HSE. The forthcoming reallocation of resources to tertiary services and creation of pools of excellence compares well with international models. Negativity must be avoided.
PS if you are bleeding out of you bum for several months and have lost two stone please do not reply as you might damage the positive message we are trying to project.

i was reminded of the bollockology gay mitchel was going on about in terms of wanting to have their own way of deseminating information THEIR way in order to cut out the annoyingly inconvenient people whove actually seen their relations DIE from the malmanagement that goes on there.
certainly you could practically SEE the guy squirm when pat read out the text from the 77 year old oul one that felt the need to bring a mop and bucket to the ICU to clean up the filty floors her husband had to put up with while in care.
propaganda bullshyte from people more interested in covering their arse than doing what their company is MEANT to be doing, providing a functional health service. good to see the public had no truck with the guy. the whole things seems as egotistical and self serving as when the PDs tried to stick up "celebrity" candidates for the last election.
