    VERY ANNOYED
I am truly sorry for your troubles

what sort of scan was it

This is another of my personal bugbears
There is no reason to concentrate all the scanning resources in hospitals, when you do that outpatients have no access

There is a need for an imaging centre with CT/MRI/Ultrasounds etc ina few places around Dublin/Cork/Galway and around country also which ONLY deal with out patienst referred by GP or consultant

One queue no ublic/privae stuff, that way the outpatient wouldnt have to wait until every urgent scan in the hospital is done before they get theirs

The technology exists, they dont even need to necessarily have doctors in thes eplaces they just need the computer hook up, you do need quite a few radiographers though

Its a bureaucracy which is completely out of control.
The media statements that come out of it are so carefully crafted , jargon filled , and avoid responsibility so completely ... I have never read their equivalent any where.

I know how you feel, my partner was ordered an investigation by her GP she has a medical card,7 months waiting list,i happened to have her in the VHI.rang the hospital told to bring 150 Es with her appointment she was scene within 1 week, Harney was dening this on the radio as it happened,so much for her 2 tier system, Cannot afford Vhi next year, i cannot forgive anyone who voted for this woman,

I worked in the health service as a nurse most of my life,I know what is wrong, i could tell them for nothing, but then if i was a spin person and charge thousands i would get heed. Bertie and Harney brought this country to its knees, it is going to stay there for a long time.

That's all fine, but it is no good to this lady, she deserved better now after all the country was full of money for 10 years, what does she do next week, no money now,I am sure people were shot for treason for less.
