    Postpone the Local Elections

    If the Swine Flu spreads to Ireland.

    Can/Would the government postpone the local/european elections?

    It would not be their decision to postpone the Euros so we might as well do them both.

    Well, if the swine flu is in Europe, Lisbon will have to be postponed.

    if the current hse plan is to be believed there will be little going on anywhere in the country.

    If I remember correctly the local elections were deferred some years ago--any one recall this?

    The Lisbon Treaty is the cause of the swine-flu, surely?
