Tried the Champix and will concur with the side effects...

But have been off cigs since Jan. using the niqutin minis ..the 4mg lozenger ..They work fantastic..the only thing that i am a bit concerned with is i am still using them..I actually look forward to one after my coffee in the morning.!

But i know its not as expensive as the fags..I was 20-30 a day ..I buy the triple pack for 19-49 e and it lasts the week ..20 lozengers in each tube...(which is nice and small..)

The Good.... Saving a fortune on fags..! Everything smells wonderful...(love the coffee..) Unlike the gum does not burn the stomach off you...

The Bad ..Until you get used to them ...can give you dreadful hic cups..and I mean chest tighting ..Am i having a heartattack hic cups..

But so far so good...I think i can see a day when i wont be using the lozengers...But Im smoke free so that has to be good.!

Just in case you don't know - a sure fire cure for hiccups is a teaspoonful of sugar soaked in vinegar. Don't know why it works but it's never failed me.

Anyone else try the inhalers? How do they differ from the ecigs? I haven't stopped yet but I had a go at the inhaler and it nearly made me chuck. You do get a fair nic hit off them to be fair.

I'm using it right now. Started abt 2 weeks ago. As a chain smoker myself (2 packs a day for the last 5 years and prior to that 4 packs a day for over 15 years), I have found it quite useful in reducing the terrible craving. I think I can completely quit smoking with the help of the inhaler but I have not tried.
