Ofcourse what Dukes wilfully ignores is that Harney hasn't called for all party agreement on Health. She has asked for all party agreement on cancer centalisation. All parties agree on this yes or no?

Obviously FG would only agree to this if it doesn't apply to a constituency where they have TDs. So I'm sure they will support centres of excellence in Dublin Mid West, North West, Central and Kildare South.

A Tallaght Strategy on health would be great but it won't happen. It is a very emotive issue and therefore naturally it is in the Opposition's interests not to help the govt out of the mess the health service is in. FF would not be so keen on this idea if they were in Opposition either.

I think you'll find that the article Dukes was responding to was calling for a Tallaght strategy for health policy, not just cancer strategy. But don't let that get in the way of you spinning the story.

Well is she going to take into account the other parties views of how to cope with cancer????
Considering that FF/PD's have never done anything in opposition that was for the national interest the cheek of them demand that other parties do it is unreal....
