Top hotels advise clients on how to get sex

A survey of hotels carried out over a four-month period by industry magazine Hospitality Ireland revealed that 60% were willing to provide direction on where best to secure the services of an escort, mainly women, providing a wide range of sexual services for as much as €400 per hour.

Posing as a business customer the magazine asked the concierge or relevant member of staff to recommend a reputable escort agency for a “business associate” that would be staying at the hotel in a few weeks’ time....
“Responses from hotels included the supply of names of escort agencies, advice from staff about searching for escorts on the internet and, in some instances, offers from the staff member to arrange the rendezvous with the escort on the behalf of the caller,” said the industry magazine....
The concierge’s section at the Jurys Croke Park hotel told the Irish Examiner, in the guise of a businessman seeking details: “I can’t give information over the phone, but when you are here we will try to look after you then.

“You can get all the information from ** ****** magazine or from the internet, but the numbers keep changing on there.”

I think we'd be very bothered if the hotels were offering say advice on services that say
    - kidnapped girls and delivered them to hotel for rape
though these services would describe themselves as coyly on their websites as do the escort sites

Fact is I don't think people are bothered by escort agencys (as against street prostituion which the accompanying photo in the Examiner suggests).

Has there been any recent surveys on this in Ireland ?

I was staying in a top hotel on the quays in Dublin a few months ago, and in the lift on the way down to breakfast, to breakfast, a foreign female concierge asked me did 'i want fun in the room?'! I declined and then ran out of the lift at a hundred miles an hour! It seemed to me to be an official unofficial service, operated on a nudge nudge, wink wink basis with the knowledge of that hotel's management! I'd say there's more than a few exploited and unwilling Eastern European girls involved..

The State should get out of the bedrooms of consenting adults. Ireland is 20 yrs behind the rest of Europe in terms of sex.
