Why don't we ask any of the posters here if they have any anecdotal knowledge of deaths at birth. I realise that we may be inundated by liars, but ask anyway.

I would be inclined to place my trust in medics such as Dr. O'Hare, who appears to be sincere in his quest to
acquire more accurate figures re maternal mortality.
I bailed out of this thread last nite. its going no where. Just round and round in circles.
My day was great. I saw that goal for Sweden against England on morning news and it brightened up my day so incredible was it. Quite extraordinary. And we have a feast of good rugby at the weekend.
Could I point out with respect, that There ARE more (people) dying in other countries.

The only point I was making is that lethal injection is indeed used as a method of capital punishment. Apparently it's also used in botched abortions in the UK.
Terrible it is. Where are the protesters for that, those with placards such as " Take your rosaries out of our ovaries" type
