Well, if they didn't put time and effort in to establishing the actual costs of delivering the project, the proposal should be binned!

That may explain the delay - if the Mater is the best option, they have to get the planning right before they announce it - it may be an effort to avoid another cock up rather than a conspiracy.

It just gets better.....there are two staff who are still employed on the NCH project team who are receiving a combined salary of €250,000 between them. Dr. Curtis who is a consultant in AMNCH receives a monthly salary of €14k a month on top of her consultants pay of €170k pa. She is currently seconded from her consultant post to work three days a week as a medical director on the NCH development board. Jim Farragher on the otherhand receives €6k a month in respect to his role as financial director and CEO of the new NCH development board.

Indeed...the last report talks of the planning epxperts put in place to ensure no planning issues at the Mater site...would love to do the calcualtion on how much these muppets cost you and thee!!..
