Their Autism is not as a result of the specific Autism gene.

If you have an autistic boy you hav a 25% chance of a subsequent child having autism too.

Better genetic test for autism? Chromosomal microarray analysis picks up more abnormalities than current tests

I guessed as much but as I have personal experience in this area I am probably a bit more sensitive than usual.

I have tried calling the psychological society of Ireland to see if they have a register and fitness to practice committee.
If the guy was some old self-help quack that would be one thing but he has no qualifications in this area, has no research backing!

One wonders if his 'parenting' courses in UCC are infected with his 'opinion' and whether it is time for UCC to look for a new lecturer.

Questions were being asked about the standard of education declining, late last year. Now you see the reason as to why, when you have a clown as a lecturer like that, teaching out students.

Why is the number of people effected growing if it is genetic?

    Good question.

I live in a small community and there are 4 local children diagnosed with autism. 7,6,5 and 4 years old, all boys. All have older siblings who are not affected.

It's tough on the children, the parents and the siblings.
Why did Minister Phil Hogan drop the independent review into planning irregularities within Dublin and Cork city councils and Carlow, Meath, Galway and Cork county councils ?

How do you make that out? It seems that the man's theories have no basis in fact. Taking that at face value, he would seem to be way off the mark. However being wrong about something is not "incitement to hatred". It just means he's wrong.
