I think it would be an excellent way of doing some good for the country, promoting the website and helping others in need.
Perhaps, members who are interested could agree to donate each Christmas as part of this prospective annual P.ie event. I believe that you can donate at most 4 times a year so if there are very ambitious posters interested, they can share their experiences on this thread as they donate.

Obviously, if it got going, we would be doing it in our own time at the Christmas period and in our nearest locations.

Are there any other more informed donators on P.ie? If so, they could give more information hopefully.

I used to give plasma on an emergency basis for several years. I have all of the pins. When I worked in ESB they were primed for the possibility that I could be asked to leave and give as much as possible at any time.

I hated the process but it helped people. It got me out of the office.

Don't make the same mistake I did and mix it up with a sperm bank.

It doesn't go down well.

Always felt guilty. Have no excuse not to my dad done so religiously. He got a pint and I got a free badge and pen.

Well if we could co-ordinate an annual P.ie Blood Donation, would you be up for it?

they wont let me donate because i lived in the UK. they consider the UK dirty.
