Great story well done for telling it, its totally opposite to mine so people can compare both experiences.

Also men if my age over 40 may also get a lump that will be a hydracele, spelling could be wrong ,this too is easily treated.

Check your balls, or outsource it.

Went to the doctor to get myself checked out this morning, after having a strange sort of ache, around, or near one testicle since just before Christmas. Pain is too strong a word for it, as is ache really, just a weird feeling that somethings not right down there. Comes and goes, some days not there at all, so had been hoping it would just go away, but decided to bite the bullet and get checked. I'm rapidly closing in on 45, and had thought myself out of the woods as far as testicular cancer risk goes, but I do know someone who did get testicular cancer in his mid 40's.

Anyway, GP snapped on the rubber gloves and proceeded to poke and squeeze, but says there's nothing wrong, no lumps to be found and it's probably just a trapped or pinched nerve. If it's not gone completely by the end of the month I'm to go back.

I went to the docs a while ago. My suspicions were correct and a lump was found, but he told me it was not cancer, most likely a cist. Went to the hospital today and got it properly checked out and everything was OK. I have a large blood vessel on one side and very small cists on the other, which are not deleterious, thankfully.

Anyone who thinks they have something down there should go to the doctors ASAP. It wasn't as awkward as I first thought it would be. And the hospital was even better getting the ultrasound. I was rewarded by having two beauts scanning me.

Will get a check down there now every 6 months probably, just to be sure. But again, I must reiterate to any fella on here that thinks he has something wrong on his testicles to please go to the doctors straight away an get it checked out.
