We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when creating them
It's easy for the Kenyans and the Swedes to ban smoking in public places (or just bars and restaraunts in Sweden), for they have advantages we lack.
The Kenyans can go outside where it's nice and warm, while the Swedes go home and have sex.

Dont Marlboro get a veto on Kenya?
Ireland's lead? I suppose we were the first people to ban smoking from public places were we? I wonder how they came up with that idea all by themselves? Someone should really give Martin a pat on the head.

No we were not. It was in the U.S. first. But still we put it to the fore in europe and other countries come here to see how it works.
Thats great, so they're following Americas lead, not Ireland's. Why must we try to take credit for everything?Originally Posted by Arnó

We can look at it as leading europe on this issue.
Does the US ban smoking in all workplaces? I honestly didn't know that.
