My auntie says she hadn't heard anything about this flap at all.
Of course, that might be because she is still waiting for her hearing aid.
Yes he raises good points, all of them
Partly but he should have phrased it better
No
No and the Labour Party should boot him

What really annoys me about this is that an elected representative makes a valid point about spending priorities and he is threatened with disciplinary action by an unelected cabal within his own party. This effectively amounts to censorship.
And I don't believe Colm Keaveney is a gombeen. He was in USI slightly before I was involved in student politics, but he seemed to be well-regarded amongst my peers.
Eamon Gilmore needs to do two things immediately :
* Unequivocally and publicly back Colm Keaveney.
* Set in train procedures to change Labour's rules so that unelected cabals don't have the power to effectively gag elected politicians.
Gilmore has been very good at Talking the Talk, now he needs to Walk the Walk.
I'm sorry but since when do politicians over rule doctors on medical matters?
