Do Non Irish Nurse have the right to strike

Folks, not trying to casue a riot here, but was watching the news last night and saw quite a number of nurse's who came to Ireland as economic migrant workers, and now they were out on the pickets yesterday. They came to this country to get better paid than in their own countries which is happening, so do the have a right to strike, if they are not happy with their salaries in Ireland, should they just not go else where rather than trying to casue mischief and mayhem.

Do you think migrant workers should be entitled to fewer protections than Irish-born workers or that, for example, they should be prohibited from joining a Union?

And Irish-born nurses went to college to get better paid than they would have done as supermarket workers. Should they not be allowed to strike either?
Worth breaking my "no sig" rule for:

    Remember GAMA

Of course workers, Irish or foreign, are entitled to join a union and withdraw their labour.

Its very possabvle they are afraid to do anything else but support their Irish workmates.
Lets face it, if you are new to the country and your shop stewart says "We're out", what are you going to do?

Presumably all workers in our public health service, be they cleaners, care assistants, nurses, doctors, consultants or hospital management have the same entitlement to take industrial action for better conditions of employment or for better pay regardless of whether they are Irish or non-national workers, if not this would be the worst type of discrimination.
    Average expenses per TD in 2011:- FG €36,412, Lab €28,756, FF €45,219, SF €44,413, SP €23,654, PBP €31,866, WUAG €49,911, IND €37,805, CC €13,112.
