How is Mary Harney still in the Dail? The party she was elected as a representative of no longer exists, and yet she is not only still there, she is in a minsiterial position.

Leaving all that aside, I am a constituent of hers, in that she was elected from my area, and is alleged to represent that area in the Dáil. She has closed her constituency office though, as she doesn't intend to run for re-election, and that apparently absolves her of any further requirement to even pretend to represent me. In which case, by what justification is she sitting in there on the blue chairs??? When she isn't sitting in first class, or the hairdressers, of course.

Saw this reported on 9 News last night. Meant to follow it up, but Ivor's performance distracted me somewhat.

    Look at her, she's a role model for all of us. In fairness to her she probably has a slow metabolism. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . and very fast chip eating fingers.

To be fair, she doesn't look that awful in person.
She is very very small so can't really get away with carrying much weight.

In any case, I think insulting her over her physical appearance is a low blow. There are many other things to insult her about that are much more politically valid.

I'd consider it a low blow if she was in any portfolio other than health.
