I do not believe her position is as secure as it was last week. I don't think Cowen can take the support of the FF PP for Harney for granted.
Cowen is caught between a rock and a hard place.

In the Dail yesterday he said that he had confidence in her. However, I do believe that the backbenchers will call for her head. Under pressure in the Dail today, they didn't look too comfortable.

She said tonight that she wouldn't resign, but she may have to.

    Based on what comparative statistic?

And none of the things I've mentioned were particularly costly.

    Hiqa.

Another costly, report generating, politically motivated and practically useless quango.

No wonder an A&E visit costs 100 quid.

I'm afraid an A&E visit costs a lot more than a 100 quid, you are just charged a 100 quid to try and get you to go to your doctor, or CareDoc, instead.
