More porn=less sex crimes, should porn be a human right like food?

It is becoming apparent that porn, far from being harmful , may indeed be a good thing. So if porn is associated with lower sex crimes, perhaps we need to have more porn. Indeed it could be argued that access to porn should become a human right.

What do people think of porn - and how , as a society, we deal with it ? Should people on the dole be given free porn ? SHould doctors be allowed to prescribe porn ? Is access to porn a human right ?

There's a correlation - and what causes it is unclear

Though at the least it is becoming apparent, that on average , porn is not harmful

Now if eating is a human right: is consuming porn ?

The west is a-wash in porn and incidence rates for sex crimes have been on the rise for decades.The premise of this OP would appear to be back to front.

How is it 'becoming apparent'? Because you found one study which seemed to indicate that? If you wanted, you could find any number of studies which indicate the opposite. The effect - if any - which porn has on sexual violence has always been very contentious. I doubt this latest study is in any way definitive.

Ted Bundy was exhibiting psychotic behaviour from the age of three. He never even mentioned the porn angle before this interview (which happened to be conducted by an anti-porn crusader) and none of the accounts I have read of his life and crimes takes it seriously as a factor in his pathology.
