where is Mary Harney?

Sorry, but who exactly is 'suffering' and in what way would Mary Harney's presence alleviate that suffering?

Harney can answers questions in the Dail when she returns. Her whereabouts at the moment are completely irrelevant. Expecting her to fly half way around the world so that she can do an interview with Sean O'Rourke is ridiculous.

If this is acceptable to you......I throw my hands up in despair.

Harney KNEW about this since the end of last year....but it didn't break till she was out of the country. If that is acceptable to you, then you DON'T expect very much, do you??

St Patrick Day isn't until next week. Thats the supposed reason for her traveling. One wonders did she know this outrage was going to to made public.....thats why she bolted so early!?

Also, fair play to the p.ie poster on the thread about the X-rays who early on predicted that Mary Harney would attribute this situation to a "systems failure"!!

NewsTalk are reporting that she went to Kiwiland last Saturday for a 15-day trip.

Newstalk have found out that Harney left for New Zealand on her "trade mission" on 6th March.

Her husband is on the trip, as is Philip Crowley and Harney's special advisor and private secretary. Her husband is "most probably" there in a private capacity.

NewsTalk are reporting that she went to Kiwiland last Saturday for a 15-day trip.

The Govt have said the 15 day trip is necessary because it is a trade mission. Newstalk just reported all the people who are traveling as part of the Ministers delegation......one is her husband, the other 3 are her secretaries and a Dept of Health official! Does that sound like a trade mission?
