Report says just 222 of 600 primary care teams set up - The Irish Times - Thu, Feb 11, 2010
See the article in yesterdays IT where Sean O'Fearghail of FF quite clearly pointed out that while some progress had been made with the creation of 222 primary care teams, “most of these lack a base and diagnostic services”.
It is quite clear that the resources are not in the community. So will more people just die in ambulances?
We are being sold "virtual" community care and the press is just swallowing the spin hook line and sinker.
Why can the press not do their homework properly and interogate the minister for health Prof Drumm and his sidekick M Harney with some clear facts in front of them and not be delected by the rubbish that this pair spout.
