Silly - that's what the robots are for.

(Also, doesn't everyone want to see the world mainly inhabited by rich people?)

There is wide proof that intelligent people have less kids, e.g.paper here

While the topic was interesting the accompanying opinion of the OP let it down. Education and a higher quality of life are more viable solutions than sterilization.

I think we should consider this in Ireland. In housing estates around the country there are many people having children and frankly it is cruel to the children. Now there are of course some upstanding people who are on long term dole (due to medical reasons etc) and I'm not talking about them. I'm talking about the petty criminals , alcoholics & other drug addicts. Currently the State gives massive subsidies for rearing these children (dole, children's allowance, housing, health etc) and I think it is a cruel thing for the State to do. These children will grow up in misery and be at risk of going into crime & an early death.

So I propose we offer a €15,000 bribe to all long term dolers if they underwent voluntary sterilization. It would represent good value for money when you consider the future cost of those children to the State.

lol, depends on how you define rich.

I would like to see an equal distribution of power and thus resources among all people in the world.

We can't all be rich by Irish standards. Remember that all resources are finite, even those which are infinite can only be harnessed at a finite level.

I can't remember, but I do remember Mary Hanafin (when she was Minister for education) saying on radio: "We are are giving everything top priority".

What you're really calling for is genocide, based on income! The assumption is: that low income people are low quality.

It's alright. It's based on quality, not income.
Nothing will motivate the lazy / apathetic / Americanised / west-British types to embrace their culture and the Irish language.

I dont think it is fair to target PDs for special treatment, they should be allowed to have kids.
