Pro-life groups complain over information leaflet

Pro-life groups are to lodge a formal complaint to the Vatican, over an information leaflet being distributed by a Catholic crisis pregnancy group.
The leaflet, produced by the state-run Crisis Pregnancy Agency, is distributed by a number of women's support groups including the CURA service.

It contains contact details for other similar services that are willing to provide information on abortion clinics abroad.

Olive Braiden of the Crisis Pregnancy Agency said all the groups worked together on the leaflet and no one should be upset by the information it contains.

Ms Braiden added that all the agencies involved agreed on the leaflet years ago, and that she does not understand why it's causing a problem now.
Olive Braiden should never have been appointed head Crisis Pregnancy Agency, she is out of touch with public opinion and completely unsuitable for the role. Her main qualification is she is a failed Fianna Fail European Election candidate. I hope Harney removes her asap.

    Why? How?

What is the point in complaining to the Vatican about the actions of the Government of Ireland?

Have you got a link for that?

It'd be interesting to see which anti-abortion groups these are, and whether they're linked to LIFE, which is also funded by the CPA. Are they suggesting that CURA shouldn't accept the funding any more?

As an aside, Olive Braiden's main qualification is probably her past involvement in the Rape Crisis Centre, but I wouldn't expect you to know about that, given that it doesn't fit in with your FF-centric view of the universe.

    Do you think that's likely?

Another political appointment. I'm well aware of her past. Thanks.

It's ok. Smiffy knew that really. He just said otherwise for kicks, y'know.

Well obviously it's a political appointment, given that it's a state body, and so the board is appointed by the government (which is made up of politicians).

Perhaps you can think of someone more qualified who should have been appointed.

Seriously though, do you have a link for the story?

Thanks. A typo. I'll correct it now, Ms. Jones.
