before l quit l was on the canvas a few times in DSE, education choice was the most significant issue, parents had good questions regarding variety and choice within the national and private systems and would not allow you leave the doorstep until every aspect of Edu policy was discussed. l suspect many feel betrayed by the GP at this point cos they know that if these cuts had been endorsed GP would continue (as they have in health) to support the Programme for Government.
