Did anyone see that letter to the Village, about how there was an allegation that there was a very secretive cult called the Green Party in the Dáil? Ouch!

Not sure who wrote it. Just some ordinary Joe. Basically it was about how the Green Party do nothing. Not that I'd agree with that.
"John Bull has got his hand down your pants and his fist around your bollox and you can't see it."
That was number 4!

Bit of an odd accusation since our TDs are always working away both outside and inside the Dail. The most recent is Eamon Ryans campaign for saving Salmon stocks that has sparked a good debate. It featured in local papers in Galway anyway.
The problem with the Green Party is we are in a very week position publicity wise. Only 2 parties in the Dail fall short of the crucial 7 seat mark that would give us full status as a party. SF are also in this position. However, they are well able to get publicity due to their role in the peace process. Thus explaining our weak publicity position.
I've seen Joe Higgins mentioned in papers over and over again. Even Tony Gregory gets more mentions. I think it says it all when Trevor Sargent's "no opinion" approval rating gets 40%. Look on the bright side, there was finally a Green Party photo in Village! :POriginally Posted by Danny
