How much have Green policies changed since the 80s and is it a change for the better?

Just came upon these at home, Tony Ryans manifesto/leaflet from the 1983 Dublin Central by-election caused by the death of George Colley and Roger Garlands 1987 manifesto/leaflet fromthe 1987 election.
How much have Green policies changed since then and is it a change for the better?
What (if anything) about the early policies were totally impractical

Don't know about the policies but in 07 they thought that the grass on the other side was greener and so entered Gov. The recent spraying with electoral Roundup has not helped

"...will give half his T.D.'s salary to constituents projects"
    "Dear Deputy Gormley..."
Every one sees what you appear to be, few really know what you are, and those few dare not oppose themselves to the opinion of the many, who have the majesty of the state to defend them.

The party's policies haven't changed enormously since then, though they have been rewritten to conform more to the style of the other political parties.

What has changed is that the Greens in Government (2007-2009) don't give a flying fig about most of those policies.

Half a TD's salary then would not match Bertie's monthly pension now.

Did TDs really only earn £16,400 in 1983? Can anyone convert that into today's money in real terms?

    It's about - and very much "about" - €60K.
