Niall Ó Brolcháin invites FG Lab to make GP an offer to cross the floor

    On RTÉ just now.

Speaking in reference to the no confidence vote. Will this fly?

FG+Lab have an opportunity to put a decent plan for recovery to the people he says.

Rabbitte says NOB sounds like someone who has left the Green family home.

Labour and FG asked for a life raft to see if the greens would cross the floor.

And the grass roots will have to ratify the reviewed programme for government. But when will that be (asks Pat Rabbite)?

    It's over.
Gormley and Ryan are now on their own.
The Green grassroots know what's been done to them.
If it goes to the grassroots in a vote (and it now must), they will pull the plug.

Thankfully Rabbitte shot it down mmediatly. There can be no repeat of 1994. The people need to change the government.
The Mahon Tribunal found Olivia Mitchell to have received an inappropriate payment from Frank Dunlop at the time of the 1992 Election. F.G. Gael has taken no action against her.

He's very, very cross. Gormley is the one on the solo run now it appears. Greens can only hang on as long as Gormley can keep his own grassroots at bay

RTE have switched over to Gilmore talking rot as the government convulses on live TV.

It can't be done without Sinn Fein can it?

If Sinn Fein are good enough for the north, are they good enough for the south?

Pat Rabbitte rightly said that given the dire financial straits we are in, now is not the time for such an arrangement, any new government needs to have a mandate that only a General Election can give.
