Deidre de Burca outpolling Patricia McKenna in Dublin

Katie Hannon on RTE a moment said that "sketchy" tallies had Deidre de Burca on 4.4%, whilst McKenna was trailing behind her.

I'd not be in the least surprised, De Burca for all her flaws is the Green Candidate, and McKenna just comes across as a crank to be honest
Enda Kenny on FF government: “We’re in this mess, not because Fianna Fáil policies have failed, but because they have succeeded.”

Agreed. The percentage difference between the two is very small anyway.

McKenna and De Burca should take the hint and withdraw from public life.

    I think it's only 4.4-4.3% though.

McKenna is unlucky. She was polling reasonably well at the beginning of the campaign, but the media narrative was SF/FF/Higgins. If she could have got ahead of one of SF or Higgins she would have hoovered up transfers from all and sundry.

Luck had nothing to do with McKenna's dreadful showing. This is the third election where she's performed badly - again she should take the hint.
