I have now read the full article, it is a bit of a non-story, but is says a lot about differing management styles.
The cabinet agreed to get rid of them. FF ministers wanted to refer it to an oireachtas committee to kill it off after the elections. Gormley just made the announcement and it is dead. FF could learn something from him- accountability, leadership and the point of being in government.
