As you know, the MEPs in the European Parliament form parliamentary groups, that have each a president. Consequently, the Greens have a parliamentary group and a president, who for many years has been M. Dany Cohn-Bendit. The Greens seem to like him.
When looking at his page on Wikipedia, I found that Dany Cohn-Bendit had been accused of pedophilia. The accusation was caused by a text he wrote himself in a sort of autobiography, relating his days as "educator" in a kindergarten in Frankfurt:
"It happened to me several times that certain kids opened my fly and began to tickle me. I reacted differently according to circumstances, but their desire posed a problem for me. I asked them: 'Why don't you play together? Why have you chosen me, and not the other kids?' But if they insisted, I caressed them even so."
And not only he wrote that himself, but he did not deny it when it provoked a scandal.
I just wonder what the Irish Greens think about those "educative" practices? It's ok? It's green? It's efficient against global warming?
