    RTÉ News:
As Green Party public representatives meet in Dublin to discuss the Budget, a Green councillor has said she would be advocating that the party vote at its conference next year on whether it should remain in Government.

Dublin North Central representative Bronwyn Maher said it looked like the party was selling out on its core policies.
I wonder if she will have wide support for her call. Would make for an interesting vote.

Well that is one option. A Fianna Fail/Green merger is the other.

    Or has that already happened?

Patricia Mc Keena was on Newstalk at lunch-time about the Greens in government. No love lost there anyway, that's for sure. She was saying that the grassroots membership probably would vote for a pullout. She also gave a very clear indication that she may very well run as an Indo in the Euro's.

I like Bronwyn. I'm not a green, but I've met her a few times at meetings and she's a good egg and I'd respect her opinion.

    As for mcKenna.... shudder....

This is the 3rd of 4th time that this councillor (maher) has made some big statement along these lines.

Do I smell a Cllr. Who needs a few headlines to save her seat?
