You used to be cool.

Now you have to sit with the maths kids.

(And yes, I'll be cycling. )

That's only because you want to marry your bicycle.*

*This is by no means a comment on the fidelity of the lovely Mrs. Pidge (assuming there is a Mrs. Pidge).

But even that would use electricity! A baby seal dies everytime you use electricity! Let's just all hugs tree and meditate!

Please, Cookiemonster, if you're gonna attempt to be a smart-ass, at least come up with something vaguely original. That kind of humour was only vaguely funny (if at all!) in the nineties.
It's not enough to think outside the box anymore, EEF. The box is now a ball and you've got to bounce the ball to be a real player on my court. It seems you're still on the side lines trying to tie your hemp based shoe laces.

If you were a true greeny you'd have a solar power computer or a baygen laptop. Pidge, now he knows where it's at. He goes around at night disconnecting people's houses from the electricity grid to save their eco souls. That and his patented "naked days" which have on wear and tear, thus prolonging the life of garments ensuring that precious resources are not wasted manufacturing new ones and also save on chemicals in washing detergents and electricity on washing machines (though myself or Pidge only use home made animal fat soap, recycled rain water and a washboard) thus saving the environment even more.

When you're as committed to the cause as people like Pidge or myself then you can talk of the "nineties" and over use the word "vaguely" all you like. Until then go plant a tree in it.

I don't really get why people protest outside Green meetings about Tara, but not outside FF ones.
because gormely is the minister for heritage protection, and before the change in government most tara protest were at dick roche events, to change would have been inconsistent.
Fair enough. Preaching to the choir a bit though, eh?
Protesting is protesting. It's a pretty reactive kind of thing.
Initially, sure. After a few protests, though, you'd think that there'd be some sort of serious thought given to aims of the protest. But I suppose not...

(For example, say I want to stop the M3 going through Tara. To do this, I must convince the people who control the M3 project to change their mind. I will picket their events. Considering that this isn't an issue that Gormley can exercise control (if he could, then the road most likely wouldn't be going through Tara), surely it'd make sense to picket those who have the control on this specific issue. I just find it odd that the Greens are picketed, when FF (the real ro****************************************** on this issue) aren't.)

because gormley is the minister for heritage protection,.

when will the greens admit they are the government.
What does the Irish President spend their time doing. Work in progress

Makes sense.
Is it true though? I can't remember Roche being specifically targeted but then I didn't attend too many of his events.
Worth breaking my "no sig" rule for:

Because people know that the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party is motivated by greed and power and they thought the Green Party parliamentary party might be more about principles and need to be reminded of that?

Can't find any evidence that they did, actually, now I come to look.

The real reason that Tara protestors go to Green Party events is because many of them are either Green Party members or friends of Green Party members. When they've finished protesting they go inside for a cuppa or a pint.

Nice how you didn't engage with the idea at all.

By the by, do you know what "ETA" means?
