    Greens immigration policy

The Green Party has launched its immigration policy, calling for a visa card system and the establishment of a ministry of state for immigration and ethnic affairs. It also wants quotas on the numbers coming into the country each year.

A press release can be found here:

but I'm yet to find the actual policy [any help would be nice]. What do the site racists think of these ideas? The seem an entirely reasonable set of proposals and something I fully support. Go Greens!

you might want to wait until you hear what the quotas are first, Catalpa. If their quotas are, say, maximum of 150,000 from Nigeria per annum, I can't imagine you'd be too impressed.

the world knew that you dont like nigerians, and nigerians themself dont give a thus, nothing they will produce or tell you that you will believe them most especially their passport you dont like to see it,it's like you should throw it into the river as if you're defferent from them or you're better than them when it come to racism, hiding agenda and so on and i think most nigerian in your country are used to those prejudises now,so you can continue to do it it does not affect them again because you do it too much and it turns to what we call silence is the best answer for a fool.

Immigration is definitely an environmental issue as much as anything else. I often wondered how le Greens, who claim to be an environmentalist Party, could condone mass immigration with the impact increased human population and economic activity on the environment, services, infrastructure etc.

On quotas, they will be limited in sucess unless asylum is dealt with properly. In theory 3 million asylum seekers could come in have to be accepted. Anyone serious about dealing with immigration has to start there IMO. (It is also the most unpopular aspect of immigration with the general population).

But the debate around asylum is not even begun for several reasons- one because the media is suppressing it andanother as the system has painted itself into a corner by being less than totally transparent on the whole set up.

As all round ‘do-gooders’ the Greens would rather, for ideological reasons deal with IBEC-driven and mainly legal immigration rather than tackle the prime evil i.e. asylum abuse.

But on the positive side, at least they’re raising immigration as a concern instead of just spouting the “good for the economy’ mantra like the rest and since the majority of immigration for now is legal, them just irritating IBEC, ISME, IFA etc is cool by me.
