Green Cllr set to join Fianna Fail

It looks like Cllr Caroline Burrell is set to leave the Green party and join Fianna Fail. She is a councillor on Bray town council.
She is upset that she didnt get Deirde de Burcas County Council seat on Wicklow county council.
She hasnt spoken to her party collegue Cllr ciaran o Brien since he got the seat ahead of her, and feels that she was stabbed in the back by Deirde who failed to support her in her bid to get the seat.
She even refused to second Deirde de Burcas replacement on Bray town council and John Brady of Sinn Fein had to step in and second the proposal after Ciaran o Brien proposed it.
I have heard back from very good sources that she approched Fianna Fail last week with a view of joining them.

The Greens had 3 Councillors on Bray Town Council and had a voting pact with the Labour party. The loss of a seat means they dont have the numbers any more and more or less gives control to Fianna Fail.

So another councillor joins Fianna Fáil! At this rate they'll not have to bother campaigning the 2009 elections, they'll have built up enough new seats already!

    obviously an egotistical unprincipled bint!
We need to radically change every system that has enabled the wholesale destruction of the Irish landscape, rural and urban. There is no time for incremental step by step measures. The systems have failed utterly and the only hope for a real recovery requires the rule book to be torn up completely.

Funny then that Burrell was Chairing a session at the Green Party "Think-in yesterday. From what I hear, O'Brien hadn't bothered to discuss Seconding Seat on Bray with her before Meeting.

From what I hear Burrell is still committed to the party. Herself and deBurca were photographed looking lovey-dovey in the paper at the Green Party love-in yesterday. Maybe they have kissed and made up.

At least she has the decency to tie the knot properly.

Is this like the thread about Cllr. Sean McManus leaving Sinn Féin or Colm O'Gorman leaving the PDs? Caroline sent me an email of photographs taken at our get together this week. It seems a funny way to send a message.
