John Gormley elected Green Party Leader

McKenna's surprisingly good showing is based on a letter she sent to members. She scored well on 2 key points:

Gormley would be too busy to be the leader
She would develop the party in non-traditional areas

Gormley also sent a letter, which focused on his record, and which, to me, felt a bit limp.

That's all there is to it. It had nothing to do with the PFG.

Wouldn't be expecting too many more either
(obviously I am refering to the fact that we might prefer to maintain a certain distance from our erstwhile partners in government, rather than indicating any intention to pull out of government)
