Greens looking for new General Secretary

Current Green General Secretary Dónall Geoghegan has been appointed Green Party Programme Manager, he'll ensure the implementation of the Party's contributions to the Programme for Government.

As a result, the Greens are looking for a new GenSec.

Patricia McKenna, if she doesn't get leadership.
    Just to annoy Pidge.

What's the pay? I've just finished college so I'm free. If anyone wants to support my nomination I'll join your party.

How would you like one of our guys?
Don't ask them about their capabilities or recent experience...its a touchy subject.

Fair play to Dónall, he's done a tremendous job over the last 18 months in building the party up for the election. Good to see he'll be in a position where the Party can further utilise his talents.

    Are there any obvious contenders?

Since he helped negotiate the deal then making him Programme Manager makes sense, I'm sure he'll excel at it. Will be missed as Gen Sec though, he was always very helpful and receptive to the YGs.

Well he will have an easy time over the next few years ensuring the implementation of the Green party contribution to the programmme for government...he will have nothing to do....
