    P.ie Green Party leadership candidate

    I've a nifty idea..........

How about P.ie puts forward one of its Green Party poster for the leadership race? We could do an online poll of leading GP posters to choose them and I'ld say we have the 50 members needed to nominate them.

We could set up on online campaign, nominate another poster as campaign manager etc.

    Any takers?

    I nominate Erigena!

Well considering Gogarty, Boyle, Healy and NO'B all post on this site, you may well have one.

Would have to do a bit of rooting to find the thread but Eddiepops already declared an interest in taking this position.

    Edit: Found it here

Is this your way of saying you have notions on the leadership?

Not at all, and I would decline any such nomination.

Think it might be a little early for me, not that Im not confident that I wouldn't do an incredible job I've already nominated a candidate so I don't think it'd look great if I then entered the race myself...

If we did that and they got it we'd all have to go on the payroll as political consultants.
    A poster of some consequence...

On the thread I refered to above, you declared your interest in relation to leading the party in 2012 - so obviously you will back a candidate now, let them get into a position where they can't continue and for the good of the party and the country as a whole - you will gracefully take power.
