Looks like the Greens are preparing to collaborate in the destruction of Tara to enrich a few FF Gombeens, otherwise its unlikely Sargent would be going. A sad day for Ireland.

So the Greens sold out Tara for their mercs. And not just Tara, but their credibility, honesty and integrity. And come the next the election most of the seats also.

Running a massive motorway through what is believed to be the most sensitive archaological location in western Europe, and one of the most important worldwide, is madness. It involves in one action the greatest degree of environmental change in that sensitive location since the Ice Age, given the amount of earth works involved. It would create environmental pollution, transport pollution, noise pollution and light pollution at the most sensitive location imaginable.

The M3 is needed. The only issue is the location. It should have been planned to be around the valley. Running a motorway through that environment is the equivalent of running a motorway through Merrion Square and insisting that a six lane motorway would make no difference to the city's most famous Georgian square.
if this is true then there should be nothing between tara nd the site its archeologocally linked to - newgrange - approximately 15 miles away - so wht about villages like kentstown, duleek, donore etc are thse not built on archeologically sensitive areas?

highly speculative and groundless im not the one making allegations those spouting this kind of crap should put up or shut up. This was the longest planning process in the history of the country and carried out in full public view

The odd thing is that while Tara was always an important and signficant historical site, it only seems to have become the eighth wonder of the world since the M3 route was finalised.

All this talk about everything that people disagree with, automatically implying FF corruption is becoming quite tedious really ...
