He's an absolute moron anyway. If anyone has a link to his Party Conference speech could they post it, because it was hilarious. It was like he was on speed.
As for resigning, he flip flopped constantly over whether he would take a Cabinet position, would he lead the GP in with FF etc etc.
The last time I heard him before the GE he said he would resign if the GP entered Gov with FF.
So he's going to look a bigger buffoon if he does'nt.
He said he would go rather than lead the party into govt with FF. If he doesn't then why should the electorate believe a word he says from now on?
Must have 2 senior jobs otherwise the man on his own will be in trouble.
if they agree to go with FF seargant would have to go, and they would never get a preference off me again.
By 2020, 12.75Lts of petrol will cost you just under €30, today it will cost you €16.42 exactly.
they can have the deputy leaders job but we must have 2 seniors around the cabinit table. be care of bertie...he will do ye
He was great when he wanted to get into a FG/Lab government. Now he's a moron, stupid, indecent....bla, bla, bla. He's not worse than Enda who would join PDs and SFs if he had a single possibility...
Yeah he will have to go, or maybe pull a Richard Mulcahy and stay out of the Government. Still, while I've nothing against the Green Party per se (honestly, I support a lot of what they have to say) Sargent comes off as a belligerent gobsh*te. Personally I think Ryan would be a much better leader for the party.
I dunno, Ryan is too soft. He always seems like he's about to burst into tears.
I think Ive heard a "(Leader) Must Go" argument for every party leader at this stage.
