The Green Party were just a symptom of just how sick we were a few short years ago.

We had reached the stage where we were willing to put the lunatics in charge of the asylum (on the basis that the existing crop of incompetents seemed to be incapable of messing things up so maybe the lunatics would be no worse).

All we learned was that the mixture is fatal - incompetent lunatics.

It's like cross-breeding a ferret and a monkey.

You end up with something feral that will surely bite you on the backside.

The Greens were bad in government but the true culprits of the crash were FF and the PD's. FF were let off lightly, the Greens weren't. Hopefully the Greens return, Ireland needs them IMO.
