I actually feel sorry for them. Sorry in the way that one would feel at some road-kill like a rabbit. The only solution to their current dilemma is to cut the ties completely with the Eamon Ryan and start again, acknowledging the mistakes of the past.

Maybe they don't think they were mistakes, maybe they think they did the right thing at the time regardless of the political consequences for themselves. It's just a thought like, but you never know or maybe you think you do.
