Green Party - promise 100,000 jobs

While rummaging through the moving boxes from his senatorial office danboyle has found among the burger king wrappers and empty monster munch bags 100,000 much needed jobs.

100,000 is a great big number that would be far better than say 70,000.

but its less than the ones haemorraghed during the greens disasterous stint in government

Greens promise 100,000 jobs - The Irish Times - Tue, Feb 08, 2011

The party would abolish Forfás and redirect savings into the Enterprise Ireland and IDA grants, and it proposes the creation of a "green IFSC" for carbon verification and green financial services.

Party chairman Dan Boyle said its jobs policy was based on prudent financial planning with no promises of investment that the country cannot afford. "Our job creation plan is realistic but ambitious. And it will work."

"We are a party of difference and we are a party of new ideas." Mr Boyle said many of these ideas get called upon by the other parties but they started with the Greens.
"We are a party of difference and we are a party of new ideas." sounds like alot like mehole martins claim...

Didn't they also promise not to support thieves in office one time, ohhh...a long, long time ago?

Or was that on another planet - Planet Bertie, perhaps?

Maybe 100,166 tds in the next dail - would require a move from LH to Crokepark, a roof on the stadium and a new home for GAA.

If all the parties come together and form a national government and put all their promises together, between them they may just about create the 450,000 jobs!
