Their current shower of imbeciles will retire on good fat pensions, a reward for taking Ahern's shillings.

The remaining real Greens will go back to being a grassroots organisation with idealism and committment, and might get another TD elected when Gogo's daughter (of the press conference fame) is an adult.

A sad outcome, given what Ahern, Cowen and Lenihan have done to this country.

Assuming Paddy Power's prediction of either zero or one seat from the general election is true, what is the likely future of the party? Is it possible that the party would wind up or will there always be a need or demand for a Green party of some sort? Is it irrelevant anyway considering the green/environment agenda is embraced by other parties?
