    Their current shower of imbeciles will retire on good fat pensions, a reward for taking Ahern's shillings.

    The remaining real Greens will go back to being a grassroots organisation with idealism and committment, and might get another TD elected when Gogo's daughter (of the press conference fame) is an adult.

    A sad outcome, given what Ahern, Cowen and Lenihan have done to this country.

    It will return to its origins as a special interest club for those interested in animals, wildlife and the environment.
    It should never have been a political party in the first place.
