Greens = lowest form of scum. Got <500 FPVs in my constituency, yet their will was imposed on us. In rural Ireland they are more hated than FF and thats some achievement!

It's sad in many ways but they are going to find out the consequences of acting as Fianna Fáil's condom.

People pointed to the fate of Labour and the PDs but the Greens just didn't pay any attention.

Pre-2007, many people did see them as offering a credible alternative and they've blown all that.
Breathing new life into Fianna Fáil is like breathing new life into the Black and Tans.

RT News - Green Party shows us the money

    From RTE blog:

"Emma O Kelly attended a mischievous Green Party press conference on reform of political funding

A coy response from John Gormley and Trevor Sargent this afternoon when asked by one observant journalist why they had used fake Northern Irish Banknotes to represent estimated Sinn Féin spending during the course of this campaign.

(The Greens had laid out stacks of fake money on a table to represent each party’s estimated political spending. They were launching their proposals on reform of the political funding system.)

Asked by Journalist Fionnán Sheahan ‘were they suggesting something?’, they responded ‘It’s a coincidence.’

So were they happy to leave such an insinuation for the cameras and not actually say anything for the record?

    It looks like they were.

‘It’s legal tender’ said Trevor Sargent all innocent-like as John Gormley smiled beside him."

There has been far to much polite sniggering at this party of fools.
