    Look forward to it changing though if the main parties are serious about it.
    If the Green Movement are serious about saving the planet then they will have to distance themselves from clowns like the Green Party.

    Funny though, now that oil prices are going crazy, the greens talkin bout an oil free Ireland in 20 years doesn't seem so mad, now that 2 nuclear power stations in Japan are in big trouble the green objection to nuclear power doesn't seem so mad. What is mad is yee all puttin your heads in the sand.............

    Cant believe this thread is still going. The greens have destroyed themselves and Patricia McKenna was right because she warned them that they would be wiped out. She seems to have been the only prominent member to come strongly from the start, at the time they did their sell-out deal with twisted Bertie, to say it would be a disaster. I suppose you could pity those who now regret it but they should have backed McKenna at the time. Was it 10% that agreed with her? Bit late now that they have got their seats on boards and whatever else they were promised to be crying about it all. Sinn Fein is the biggest winner from Fianna Fail's corruption and the greens political immaturity and premature hunger for power.

    [QUOTE=berkeley;3679608]Good post

    I think it's important to remember that

    Gormley, White, Cuffe, Ryan, Gogarty, Sargent and Boyle etc are a small minority within the party who took it over in a palace coup in 2002.

    How true!
    What a bunch of Tossers
    Gormless was a legend in his own lunchtime.
    As for the unelected fat pillok from cork.....................

    Apparently you are nothing in politics nowadays unless you work renewables and sustainable green jobs into your utterances.
    It is going to take us years to reverse this heresy.
    The counter reformation starts here!

    People talk about reneging on the bond holders. What this country needs to do is renege on the stupid Kyoto Protocol.
    Imagine having to hand out money to these goons for the privilege of keeping ourselves warm.
    Are you a Scientist???

    All the Green Party's seats went to Fine Gael so we gladly take joy at their demise.
    16 years of hurt are over. The Sam Maguire is back in Dublin!
