Eamon Ryan - support Anglo or lose the Euro

Anybody hear Eamon Ryan say that Ireland would be thrown out of the Eurozone if Anglo defaulted.

This is his craziest idea yet.

I certainly did during the last 20 mins of Saturday View and I nearly punched the radio. Just because Lenihan says "you must say this" the FF lites have to repeat the same claptrap mantra. It's along the lines of the "only game in town" B*S they spun about NAMA. It was the only game in town because other alternatives weren't considered.

I'm surprised he didn't go so far as to say the Americans would have branded us part of the Axis of Evil had we let Anglo go to the wall.

And we would probably have thrown out of the Eurovision too!

That's solid business experience. Well, more business experience than a Social Worker. Or a Teacher. Or a small town Solicitor.

And the White Cabbage in the background chorus, it must have been rehearsed.

Before that he was on the dole for two and a half years. An episode which he regaled us with as if it was a badge of honour.

I've been unemployed for a month now, does that make me a super-green-genius in the making?
