    The Greens and Ministerial Pensions.

As far as I'm aware, a government minister is entitled to a pension after 1095 days in office, which equates to 3 years. This government took office on June 14th 2007. Correct? So Ryan will be the only one to keep it after the reshuffle if the rumours are true.

    No.

And this subject has been done to death on this site, so if you have nothing better to contribute, get lost.

Well we've had the Green response? Anyone care to offer anything slightly more constructive?

I think this is a valid question. Does anyone have a specific answer to this? Is there any link anyone can suggest to get more info?

You asked was something true. It isn't.

What do you want? A fax?

Haha Goosegimp ... you make me lol!!!

You say it's been done to death ... maybe you need to pay more attention if this is true.

You really embarrased yourself a few days ago when the grown ups were discussing Ministerial pensions. Remember this?

    Oh Dear!

And you even include the compulsary foul mothed insult that has come to typify the supporters of this gombeen and incompetent government. Well done on that.

KN had to correct you later in the thread as follows ...

So in the case of Mary White etc the normal 40 year public service for full pension entitlements applies.
Maybe you should be the one looking for the refund from UL Goosegimp.

Now sit back and let the grown ups have a chat. Who knows, you might actually learn something

Well if I'm wrong do you care to elaborate rather than just dismissing a valid question?

Frankly your post was a disgrace, gb. Someone asked a question. You replied by personal abuse. That was uncalled for.

You are usually a very constructive and interesting poster, even if many of us disagree with some of your posts. You are obviously annoyed over what has happened to the Greens but that is no justification for attacking a poster who simply asked a question. There is no evidence that they are trolling, or are political plants like Misty/eurocitizen etc. They asked a question. Your response was to bite them head off and abuse them.
"Irish citizens . . . on ratification of the Treaty could be forced to become Euro soldiers." Sinn Féin claim on Maastricht in 'Democracy or Dependency' p.6. in 1992.
