Appoint a Minister (or a pretend minister, as is the case here) to an area where they have some knowledge? You're just being silly now.

Imagine if he got to make a speech to the assembled heads of state at the UN Assembly:

"Leaders of the world - ******************** you!"

    *rolls around on floor*

No I'm not being silly. Irish politics is silly. I'm just telling it like it is.
    Don't shoot the messenger.
Or more to the point, don't call the messenger silly.

Edit: sorry scratch that. Should have read your post first.

Gogarty is a bit mad in the head. He should feel right at home with the current cabinet.

I can imagine a meeting of FF and the junior Green ministers....

Cowen - "FFS, where's that ****in' Gogarty, someone get that "****er on the phone."

Gogarty storms in - "I'm here FFS".

Cowen - "You're late you ****er."

Gogarty - "With all due respect deputy, **** you deputy, **** you."
