Pat Rabbitte suggested that it might have been his constiuency office without the knowledge of Sargent!
Did he sign it or know about it in other words?

This is so very unlike Sargent. Very out of Character. Not saying that he didn't do it....but not the Trevor we know

Why is Rabbitte treating this in such a 'softly softly' manner on RTE?

The current crop of politicians must be the thickest in the history of the state.

One eejit tells a lie to a journalist on record about a rival and then swears an affidavit saying he said no such thing forgetting that it was on tape.

And now another fool writes a letter on Dept of Agriculture headed paper to a guard asking him to drop charges against a constituent.

They should be sacked for stupidity never mind wrong doing.

Fairly shocking. Do the Glasraí know the difference between right and wrong? I didn't think this country had the offence of Peverting the Course of Justice, but it does. Pigs practicing their aviation skills are a more likely sight than that gent in court on that charge, though.

Almost every TD has been down this road before.

Can we expect to see Maire Geoghegan Quinn resigning ? A court found her guilty of influencing the administration of justice to benefit FF voters.

Well, where this could all get very interesting is to get to the bottom of where, when, and how, the Herald got hold of their info...
Unenthusiastic about any of the buggers.

I suppose that full facts have to be ascertained.
