    From the article:

    Mr Sargent wrote to Mr. McGowan to inform him by letter that he has intervened. And he made a promise that he would take the issue to another level, if the garda had not responded within a certain time.

    Lets hope your predictions on this case don't go the same way as did in the Quinlivan case.

    It would be far more comforting if you said something like; "Sargent has no case to answer, move along now..."
