the green appologists cannot see past the spin ,they believe every piece of sh1t that drools out of john gormley's mouth. NAMA is of no service to the state, it will cost thousands of jobs .about 15000 from AIB and 6000 from BOI, it will also increase the national debt by 80%, most of these loans were given for projects that were never built.how are you going to get millions for an acre of weeds, there is no prospect of any return for the billions poured into nama

NAMA won't pay millions for a loan owed for an acre of weeds. It will pay the LTEV, which in most cases will be agricultural value, and agricultural land is decreasing in value.

The owner will still owe the millions he paid for it, but NAMA will be buying it at a more realistic value.

NAMA knows best sure it's better then the market to determine realistic values. But I forgot there is no market at the moment...NAMA will create one

    You are kidding me.

They depend on the UK Government for their survival, and the UK Government is bankrupt itself.

If you wanted the native banks gone, they why do your lot give them our money? FF-Lite is all you lot are.
Do you honestly believe that the real FF-Lites (Fine Gael and Labour) would go against the advice of the Department of Finance if they were in power?

Ah, your stupidity knows no bounds.

Let me ask you a simple question, one that we can all understand.

What is your solution to cheap energy supply for Ireland after you have taxed the current method of supply out of existence?

the civil servants working in the department of finance , the central bank and the regulators office are as guilty as the politicians and bankers, criminal charges should be brought against anyone who was party to the bank gaurantee

Gormley, Ryan and the rest of the Green shower who are in government will do whatever they tell them. They have been in power for almost three years and are enjoying fat salaries, lavish perks and a taste of power. They will do whatever Fianna Fail tell them.

Since they have come to power the Greens have shown their true colours. They are a bunch of hypocritical eco-alarmists. The quicker they are given their marching orders the better. I hate them with a passion just like that FF shower!!
It always amazed me how many people voted for a party which contains the word "fail".

There is not a chance that the Greens would support NAMA had they been in opposition. Feasta opposed it for goodness sake. When the Greens are departing from the advice of almost all economic experts including those specialising in sustainable economics, I no longer consider them a green party.

I hope that you do not rely on Anglo to cash your cheque.

Why have you failed to answer my questions so far?

FF seeks amendments on Greens' puppy farm Bill
Mr Aylward said he was confident of support from a number of rural TDs and Senators. He said he agreed with the Bill in principle, and stressed measures to eradicate abuse of dogs were required, but added that he viewed other proposals as “very severe”.

He said he hoped Mr Gormley would look sympathetically on his request for amendments. “We’re in Government together and you have to get on, but it can’t be a case of the tail wagging the dog, if you’ll excuse the pun,” Mr Aylward said.
