Social inclusion clause?? It's lipstick on a pig

No real Green would ever back NAMA

This thread looks like a kite-flying exercise on behalf of the the Greed Party

it would be great if respondents to the thread bothered their asses to read the OP and comments before leaving one liners. The thread was about how the parliamentary party usually find a way to work with FF despite grassroot opposition. http://www.irishtimes.com/newspaper/...255787415.html

Will the promise of having space for schools, community centres etc. be enough to get people's support for Nama?

I cannot understand how this would sway anyone.

The era of a shortage of development sites is over! It won't be repeated for decades.

I agree. If the Kenny report was implemented there would be no need for a social dividend. These are crumbs from the rich meal that Nama gives developers.

You really are scared of NAMA working aren't ya?. Nothing is too much to say....Lenihan is a liar.....NAMA is a bailout for developers....No proof, just saying what you think the anti NAMA's want to hear and at the same time might sway the odd Green. No lie too small or too big, just keep them rolling out, that's the plan, isn't it.

The GAN spokesperson said that 80% of Greens wanted only to pay current market value paid for the property, after the Athlone Slime-in. That is not on the menu this Saturday, which SHOULD mean that the vote fails...especially after Stiglitz said it would be "criminal" to rob the taxpayer by paying more

But I certainly won't be putting my money on the Greens rejecting NAMA on Saturday. Instead, they will vote against their own better judgement, and mortgage away our futures, in order to get Gormley in the Tanaiste seat, or to save a few furry animals, or whatever crumbs they come up with.

Now they are playing hardball, when the game ended two years ago. If they had played hardball then , we would not even need to consider NAMA. The fools...
